Marlboro College

Marlboro College is a very small, four-year, highly residential school, located in a distant rural area (Marlboro, Vermont). It is a private non-religious school (not-for-profit), located in the fantastic New England area of the country.

Ellen McCulloch-Lovell is the President of the school. You can find more information about Marlboro College by visiting their website.

Marlboro College has a closed admissions policy. This doesn't mean you won't be able to be admitted to the school, but that you should contact the admissions office for complete admissions information. In order to apply for admittance, your high school GPA is recommended. Your high school transcripts and your standardized test scores, such as those from an ACT or SAT, are required. (Check with the admissions office to see which tests are acceptable.) If English is not your primary language, it is required that you take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and submit the results with your admissions application.

Of those who applied to the school, 64% were admitted. There are currently 337 students enrolled in the Marlboro College.

If it fits better with your needs, the school also offers some programs via distance learning.

The school has on-campus housing available for up to 267 students. On-campus housing costs average about $4,800 per year. You may also choose to participate in a meals program (19 meals per week) for an additional $3,800. (This could be a weekly, monthly, or term amount. Check with the school's admissions office for further information.)

The average tuition for out-of-state full-time undergraduates is approximately $28,350. If you are an in-state student, then the average tuition is approximately $28,350. Any tuition figures are exclusive of required fees, books, and supplies. The fees can vary, but books typically average about $600. It is estimated that the total cost for an in-state student is $38,620 per year and $38,620 per year for an out-of-state student. If you choose to live off-campus, then it is possible for costs to be higher.
