Prairie View A & M University is a medium-sized, four-year, highly residential school, located in a fringe rural area (Prairie View, Texas). It is a public school, located in the scenic South Central area of the country. It is considered a historically black school, as well as a land-grant school. Prairie View A & M University has a closed admissions policy. This doesn't mean you won't be able to be admitted to the school, but that you should contact the admissions office for complete admissions information. In order to apply for admittance, you will need your high school GPA, your high school ranking (where you were in your class), your transcripts, and standardized test scores, such as those from an ACT or SAT.
