United States Military Academy

United States Military Academy is a medium-sized, four-year, highly residential school, located in a large suburban area (West Point, New York). It is a public school, located in the great Service Schools area of the country.

Ltg William J. Lennox, Jr. is the Superintendent of the school. You can find more information about United States Military Academy by visiting their website.

United States Military Academy has a closed admissions policy. This doesn't mean you won't be able to be admitted to the school, but that you should contact the admissions office for complete admissions information. In order to apply for admittance, your high school GPA is recommended. In addition, your class rank (where you were in your class), high school transcripts, and standardized test scores, such as those from an ACT or SAT, are all required. (Check with the admissions office to see which tests are acceptable.) If English is not your primary language, it is required that you take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and submit the results with your admissions application.

Of those who applied to the school, 16% were admitted. There are currently 4,404 students enrolled in the United States Military Academy.

If it fits better with your needs, the school also offers some programs via distance learning.

The school has on-campus housing available for up to 4,400 students. You may also choose to participate in a meals program (21 meals per week)

The average tuition for out-of-state full-time undergraduates can be determined by calling the admissions office. If you are an in-state student, then the tuition will usually be less; check with the admissions office for details on qualifying and amounts. Any tuition figures are exclusive of required fees, books, and supplies. The amount you will incur for fees and books can vary depending on your course of study. It is estimated that the total cost for an in-state student is $ per year and $ per year for an out-of-state student. If you choose to live off-campus, then it is possible for costs to be higher.
