- Admissions office. The first step that any prospective student needs to take in being able to go to the school of their choice is to contact the admissions office. These offices are specifically designed to help the prospective student get the information necessary in order to get into the overall college. Many of these offices even have premade informational packets that they are prepared to send as soon as the student requests. Contacting the admissions office can be an extremely easy task since all that is necessary is to go online or call the office yourself.
- Department heads. Just because you may be able to get into the college or university of your choice does not mean that you are going to be able to get into the program of your choice. In order to make sure that you can get into your desired field of study, simply contact the department office or department head to see if there are any other requirements necessary to be accepted for that field of study.
